The first flower in our collection of buzzing honey drinks tries to keep things as blue as possible. Butterfly pea flower infused gin can range anywhere between a light blue to a deep purple when left to steep. I got to mine after a days work, and so adding some blue orange liqueur was my idea of putting the blue back where it belongs.
What resulted was a lovingly sweet cocktails who like their gin with a little less obviousness. The resulting top layer made for a lovely way to showcase the dried flower petals that helped create such a richly colored drink in the first place!
Ingredients:
- Butterfly Pea Flower-Infused Gin
- Blue Curacao
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and shake in a tin. Then strain into a glass of your choice!
