"A Visit From St. Nick | Crafted Pour"

"This cocktail is inspired by a line from the poem A Visit From St Nick, otherwise known as T'was A Night Before Christmas by Clement Clark Moore. I have to admit I've never had a sugar plum before but they sound delicious, and the flavours work perfectly for a cocktail! It also comes with a bonus snack! "Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; The children were nestled all snug in their beds; While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads; And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap,", "undefined", "A Visit From St. Nick ",

Stir everything with ice and strain into the glass. There's a local spice shop near me that has all sorts of different spice blends. One of my favourite is their holiday spiced sugar. It contains sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, cloves, allspice, ginger and mace. A simple 1:1 sugar to cinnamon rim would work here as well Spiced Fig Syrup - 10 Figs, Quartered with stems removed - 1.5 Cups White Sugar - 1.5 Cups Cane Sugar - 1.5 Cups Water - 2 Cinnamon Sticks, Broken Up - 0.5 Vanilla Bean, Split down the middle - 0.5 Star Anise Pod Add the figs to a large pot and mash them up. Add the rest for the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and let cool. Bottle and refrigerate. I froze a bunch of mine for use later. Scoop out the larger cinnamon, vanilla and anise pieces. Use the left over figs as a topping on crackers with cheese. Very delicious! Should last a good week or two in the fridge Originals,Signatures,Spirit Forward,Themed,Seasonal,Autumn,Boozy,Christmas,Fall,Holiday,Stirred,Winter
