"We were in New Orleans for Christmas in 2020. I was super excited to visit a bar I had read about called Barrel Proof. They were doing a special menu for the holidays with collectible glasses and I really wanted the Santa-Rex, but they were sold out. I was disappointed but still had a fantastic time and enjoyed some amazing cocktails and food. The Hubby knew I was bummed about the glass so he called a few days after our visit and they had just restocked. This amazing man of mine drove back to Magazine Street just to get me my T-Rex wearing a Santa Hat ceramic glass. I miss NOLA and all the amazing places we visited during our stay. Ingredients:
- Shadow Ridge Light Rum
- Pineapple Juice
Instructions:
Add ingredients to cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake 20 seconds. Strain into cocktail glass over crushed ice. Top with more crushed ice. Garnish with pineapple leaves and a ImPasta Straw to drink from.
