"My favorite nightgown as a child was this silky blue number with white lace across the bodice. I wore it to bed almost every night, except when it was in the wash. One night after story time, my dad asked me why it was my favorite, especially when I had a drawer full of frilly nightgowns. I told him it was my favorite because it turned me into a princess in my dreams just like Shirley Temple. The Little Princess was my favorite movie and I just loved the dream sequence when when she becomes a real princess. Dad nodded and said he understood. I was so sad when I grew out of the gown. I never really grew out of dreaming to be a princess. Cheers! 💙🥃",
