"Mr. Bally Haly | Crafted Pour"

"A local take on the classic Mr. Bali Hai. A golf club here, Bally Haly, recently moved to a new location. It seemed like the perfect time to take this riff for a spin. I had tried it out before when I first picked up this coffee rum and realized the silly name I could give it, but it was tough to balance. The coffee flavour came in STRONG and without the additional sweetness present in a coffee liqueur like Kahlua. With the announcement of the club’s move, I decided to take another crack at it. To better level out against the strongly bitter coffee, I upped the sweetness with another dash of pineapple juice, as well some delicious berry syrup. Looking forward to sipping a few of these after a round this summer! Recommended brands: •Jumping Bean Coffee Deep Water Dark Rum •Newfoundland Distillery Co.
