"Cloud Seven O Nine | Crafted Pour"

"This was my entry for the May 2021 "Drink Locally" contest that the Home Bar Awards hosted. Given that I live in a province with less people than most American cities, I had to expand my definition of local to include the whole island of Newfoundland (since I don’t think The Third Place tonic topped with a pine and catpiss IPA is going to cut it). I just happened to notice what the contest theme was on the same day that I made dandelion syrup from the most local of all locations, my own backyard. From there, I went with some gorgeous Newfoundland products (everything but the lemon) and in the words of the great philosopher king, Chris Martin, “they were all yellow.” Recommended brands: •The Newfoundland Distillery Co. cloudberry gin & cloudberry bitters •Markland Cottage Winery plum brandy •Dark Tickle cloudberry sauce/syrup/jam •sub honey syrup for dandelion syrup if necessary", "undefined", "Cloud Seven O Nine",
