"Flower Power | Crafted Pour"

"I’m sure there’s a few cocktails with this name already but the combo of Gunpowder Gin and Hibiscus made me think of the famous photograph by Bernie Boston. The Gin Old Fashioned isn’t a new concept but something about a clear spirit in this build is so interesting. Gunpowder tea and citrus meld beautifully with the deep red hue of the hibiscus agave syrup to give us a beautiful light pink hue, bolstered by the bold flavored (read: kinda gross on it’s own) and mildly grapefruity Malört. Finished with a healthy dose of grapefruit bitters and zest this is a citrus bomb but the floral sweetness and tea notes bring the cocktail into balance even with a bitter powerhouse like Malört making an appearance. Something almost alchemical happened here as well because this was the best cocktail I’ve made in a while, the flavors and components coming together perfectly; no matter how you feel about Malört, it pushed this cocktail to a whole other level. Cheers!", "undefined", "Flower Power",
