"Banana Daiquiri | Crafted Pour"

"For those looking for a way to enjoy a boozier banana experience, look no further than a liquid banana daiquiri! Referred to in this way since there is only liquid in the glass (as opposed to doing it frozen or blended). This version of the B-Daiquiri is very prominent on the notes of the rum used to craft it. In my case I used a Myer's rum which has strong notes of molasses and burnt sugar. The lightly torched banana slices adorning the garnish add to this aroma with powerful scents of caramel and what at the time smelled like a hot latte. Like in a regular daiquiri, the lime tartness is pairing so well with the sweetness emanating from the bits of the banana puree that made their way past our strainer. Quick Note:After stream ended, I tried to combine this cocktail with gelatin to see if I could create a Jell-o-fied version of this drink! 2 gelatin packs later, and it looked like throw-up, couldn't hold its shape, and it tasted exactly the way it did during the stream.
