"Nordic Gingersnazerac | Crafted Pour"

"In no universe will I ever try to directly name a cocktail recipe in any way other than creatively. As much as I like a good slug fest, the parts of this drink that may seem familiar are not similar enough to attempt to go that route. However, if you’re looking at the spec and the name and think it’s a bit of a riff on a Vieux Carrè and Sazerac, well, that’s on you. I named it after my grandmother’s famous Ginger Snap cookies made with Absinthe and bitters! However, this is indeed another mashup of sorts with elements of two famous cocktails but based around the wonderful sea-aged Aquavit with support from the classic players. Adding the spicy ginger and cinnamon syrups takes the flavor profile in a wildly different direction but a welcome one, pairing with the cinnamon and vanilla flavors of the aged spirits and Angostura bitters while also entwining with the herbal notes from the absinthe, Benedictine, Peychaud’s and Aquavit. This is a wild ride of a drink that’s stiff, stirred and subversive that takes you on a long journey of different flavors depending on what you’re looking for. Overall, a little hot and different than your normal stirred and boozy’s but a perfect homage to these ficticious (but delicious sounding) Gingersnazerac cookies!", "undefined", "Nordic Gingersnazerac",
