This is a skippers take on a pina colada minus the pina. Smoke, spice, toasted coconut, fresh lime juice. This cocktail has Mirto Verde from Bresca Dorada, which is a liqueur made from the maceration of the leaves of Myrtle berry trees. This unique herbal liqueur has overtones of eucalyptus, black peppercorn, and gentian.
Ingredients:
- Madre Mezcal
- Ancho Reyes Verde
Instructions:
Build in tin shake with two cubes and stir. Dirty dump into rocks glass and add pebble ice. Garnish.
Toasted coconut syrup:
Add coconut chips to a pan and toast without burning. Add coconut milk without boiling, mix in sugar, and once combined let sit together until cool and strain.
