"Zaragoza's Stand | Crafted Pour"

"Ignacio Zaragoza was the Mexican general who led a smaller Mexican force against Napoleon III’s better equipped army AND WON! This is why Cinco de Mayo was originally celebrated. In America it’s an excuse to drink a bunch of tequila and Mezcal and that’s okay! I decided on a 5 ingredient cocktail with some heat to celebrate Zaragoza’s victory and it came out delicious. This cocktail hits really nicely, the Cruz de Fuego Mezcal a lighter flavor profile than some with fruity notes that lends itself perfectly to a sour style cocktail. Paired with chile and vanilla botanical liqueurs as modifier and sweetener this balanced really nicely. The fruity Twang of the salt plus the spicy liqueur and shrub give a lot of heat here without being too overwhelming (recommend salting entire rim cause this salt is incredible!)", "undefined", "Zaragoza's Stand",
