"Light Up Like A Christmas Tree | Crafted Pour"

" This is my entry for @teamcraftedpour’s NYE Crafted Cocktail Competition. The recipe is inspired by a goal, wish, focus, or resolution of 2023. Have you watched the Drink Masters on @netflix? Don’t worry, there’s no spoiler in this post. My coworkers have been asking me about the show so I finally watched it during Thanksgiving week. Although I was pretty upset about the results in the first half of the show, I was amazed by all the techniques and ideas of cocktails that the mixologists on the show come up with. For those who have watched the show, who was your favorite? My favorite were Tao and Suzu. The show inspired me to try and learn more new techniques, so I’ll try to incorporate them as much as I can in 2023. Here’s a cocktail inspired by one of the episodes in the Drink Masters show using gastronomy/molecular mixology methods. This isn’t my first time making a cocktail with pearls, but I haven’t done it in while, so I guess it’s time to actually use my gastronomy kit again. How do you feel about the pearls though? Personally, not a fan… remind me of salmon roe…which I don’t like. I also want to explore more NA or low ABV cocktails so I made both pearls non-alcoholic.
