CraftedPour, Inc. (“Crafted Pour,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Delaware C-Corporation headquartered in Sacramento, California. We operate a spirits-category content-to-commerce platform (the “Platform”) that includes:

• The Crafted Pour website (craftedpour.com)
• The Crafted Pour mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Embeddable recipe widgets and product-page widgets deployed on third-party brand websites
• The Virtual Bartender AI conversational assistant (powered by Gemini)
• The Crafted Pour CMS (content management system for brand partners)
• E-commerce integrations and affiliate links facilitated through third-party retailers and fulfillment networks

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you interact with any part of our Platform, whether as a consumer, a cocktail creator, or a representative of a brand partner.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Account Data: Name, email address, password, and date of birth (for age verification). Accounts may be created via email/password or through social sign-in providers (Google, Apple).
• Creator Profile Data: Biographies, social media handles, portfolio links, and user-submitted content including cocktail recipes, photos, tasting notes, and product reviews.
• Brand/Partner Data: Corporate contact information, billing details, CMS activity logs, and widget configuration preferences.
• Zero-Party Data: Flavor preferences, spirit affinities, occasion-based preferences, and other taste profile data that you explicitly share with our Virtual Bartender AI or through interactive features on the Platform or via our widgets embedded on partner websites.
• Communications: Messages sent through our contact forms, support channels, or claim-a-profile flows.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, recipes viewed, search queries, duration of visits, Virtual Bartender conversation interactions, and outbound clicks on affiliate or e-commerce links.
• Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and mobile device identifiers.
• Widget Telemetry: Interaction data when you use Crafted Pour recipe widgets embedded on third-party brand websites, including recipes viewed, products clicked, and buy-button interactions.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Firebase Analytics to collect aggregated usage metrics. These services may use cookies and similar technologies.

C. Information from Third Parties

• Social Sign-In: If you authenticate via Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from those providers.
• Algolia Search: Search queries are processed through Algolia, which may log query data for indexing and relevance optimization.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Platform Operations: Operating our recipe directory, creator portfolios, brand CMS, and mobile applications.
• AI Personalization: Using your Zero-Party Data to power the Virtual Bartender and provide accurate, personalized cocktail and product recommendations. On partner brand websites, the Virtual Bartender is grounded to only recommend that brand's products and approved recipes.
• E-Commerce & Attribution: Tracking clicks on buy buttons to attribute sales to specific recipes and creators, and calculating affiliate commissions through our commerce partners.
• B2B Analytics & Reporting: Providing aggregated, anonymized performance metrics (widget views, recipe engagement, click-through rates, demographic trends) to our brand partners regarding their products and campaigns.
• Creator Compensation: Processing creator tipping, affiliate commissions, and Tastemaker program payments.
• Content Moderation: Reviewing user-submitted recipes, photos, and reviews for quality and compliance before publication.
• Communication: Sending platform updates, creator waitlist notifications, weekly consumer digests, brand performance reports, and transactional emails.
• Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting and preventing unauthorized access, abuse, or fraud.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties.

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: Firebase/Google Cloud (hosting, database, authentication, cloud functions), Stripe (payment processing), Algolia (search and vector retrieval), Google Gemini (AI model inference), Sentry (error monitoring), and email/notification service providers.
• E-Commerce Partners: When you click to purchase an ingredient or product (including via shop.craftedpour.com), we pass unique tracking identifiers to third-party licensed retailers or fulfillment networks (such as Bottle Nexus) to facilitate the transaction and track affiliate commissions. We do not process or store your payment card information for these consumer purchases.
• Brand Partners & Co-Branded Experiences: Brands receive aggregated, anonymized insights regarding consumer interaction with their products across the Platform. However, when you submit information through a co-branded entry form, claim-a-profile flow, or a Crafted Pour widget hosted on a brand partner's website, your Personal Information (including contact details and submitted content) may be shared directly with that specific brand partner. The identity of the partner will be clearly disclosed at the point of collection, and their use of your data will be subject to their own privacy policy.
• Content Syndication: User Content submitted to public areas of the Platform (creator profiles, published recipes, reviews) is visible to anyone on the internet and may be syndicated to brand partner websites through our recipe widgets.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Crafted Pour, our users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences (including Virtual Bartender conversation context), ensure proper affiliate tracking for e-commerce transactions, and collect analytics data. Essential cookies are required for the Platform to function. You can manage your preferences through our Cookie Consent Manager (where available in your jurisdiction) or configure your browser to refuse non-essential cookies. However, some features may not work properly without them.

5. AI-Specific Disclosures

Our Virtual Bartender AI is powered by Google Gemini and grounded in Crafted Pour's proprietary recipe and product database via Algolia vector search. Conversations with the Virtual Bartender may be logged for quality improvement and safety monitoring. The AI does not make autonomous decisions about you; it provides recommendations based on your stated preferences. You may request deletion of your Virtual Bartender conversation history at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Privacy Rights

US State Privacy Rights (California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, etc.)

Depending on your state of residence, you have the right to know what Personal Information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of your Personal Information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising (we do not sell your data), and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf.

European Economic Area, UK, and Canada (GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, Canada, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, or port your Personal Information. You also have the right to withdraw consent, to object to automated decision-making or profiling (including AI-driven personalization), and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for adults of legal drinking age (21+ in the United States). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the legal drinking age. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

8. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, Firebase Security Rules for database access control, and role-based authentication for our CMS. We retain Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Creator content and public recipes are retained indefinitely unless you request removal.

9. International Data Transfers

Our Platform is hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure located in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. We rely on applicable legal mechanisms for international data transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. For significant changes, we may also provide notice via email or in-app notification.
