Blackstrap Rum

A dark rum style distilled (at least in part) from blackstrap molasses — the dark, mineral-rich final-boil byproduct of sugar refining — and/or finished with added blackstrap molasses to amplify the characteristic notes of dark coffee, burnt sugar, licorice, salt, and slight bitterness.
