Pineapple Rum

Caribbean rum infused or blended with pineapple (typically Queen Victoria or similar varieties), yielding bright tropical-fruit aromatics over a white or lightly-aged rum base. Some expressions are pot-still-infused and barrel-rested (Planteray Stiggins' Fancy archetype); others are essence-flavored (Bacardí Pineapple, Cruzan Pineapple, Captain Morgan Pineapple). Used in tiki, painkillers, piña colada upgrades, and tropical highballs; typically 35-40% ABV.
