Refreshing

Seasonal

I wanted something refreshing and not too boozy to enjoy this 4th of July, and this was my first, very delicious stab at that. My partner immediately named this cocktail the drink of the summer after sipping it and was particularly delighted by the surprisingly good combo of the berry flavors with the lightly licorice taste of the absinthe. This drink wouldn’t be the same without it.

Absinthia Absinthe Verte

Fresh Lemon Juice

Spicy Maple Margarita

Muddle raspberries in your shaker tin. Add gin, absinthe, lemon juice, simple syrup, and plenty of ice. Shake until well chilled. Pour it all into a highball/collins glass (no need to strain here). Top with the measured dash of Cherry Heering, then fill with ginger beer (about 4 oz). Garnish with more raspberries. Cheers!
