I’ve been craving a Sidecar lately, but a standard version just would not do. I knew I wanted to use this bottle of Canadian Whisky from @stalkandbarrel because of its vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch notes. Thinking of the caramel notes in the whisky, I knew searing the lemon would be the change needed to make this sidecar even better.

Editor's Note
Charred lemon adds a smoky, caramelized edge to this whisky-forward riff on a classic Sidecar. The cinnamon-sugar rim bridges the gap between bright citrus and deep, buttery spirit notes.
