A cocktail inspired by one of my favorite salsas. Named after an active volcano in southern Mexico. Once thought to be dormant, this volcano erupted in 1982 and was the worst disaster in modern Mexican history.

A home enthusiast with a passion for all things tiki! Rum is my favourite poison, but I also love Whiskey, Brandy and just about every other spirit. I'm fairly new to cocktail making but I quickly fell in love with it and enjoy the pursuit of finding my new favourite libation. Cheers! ...

Editor's Note
Raicilla and Sotol provide an earthy, smoky foundation for this salsa-inspired sour. Mango and red bell pepper create a vibrant, savory-sweet profile with a lingering habanero kick.

This sounds like an incredible, complex flavor profile! Do you happen to have the recipe for your mango syrup and red bell pepper puree so others can try making this at home?

Oh man. This one sounds killer. What are your specs for the Mango syrup? And with the red pepper puree, are you just blending the red pepper till it's a smooth consistency?
