Combine all of the ingredients except the absinthe in a mixing glass with ice, stir for 15 to 20 seconds, rinse the glass with absinthe using an atomizer, and strain over a large ice cube into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Editor's Note
Anise-forward absinthe rinse meets the bold, lingering heat of habanero-infused tequila. Honey syrup provides just enough weight to balance the spice.
