Hoppy New Yorker

Submitted on: September 4, 2025
Tonight’s cocktail is my Hoppy New Yorker — a fresh riff on the classic Mr. New Yorker, elevated with a few dashes of The Bitter Truth Co. hops bitters. This one is crisp, aromatic, and brimming with character. The dry vermouth and Manzanilla bring a briny, herbal backbone, the curaçao adds a touch of citrus warmth, and the hops bitters tie it all together with a subtle, earthy bite. A cocktail that feels both classic and contemporary—refreshing with just the right edge.

Editor's Note
Manzanilla sherry and hops bitters transform this martini riff into a saline, earth-forward aperitif. A sophisticated choice for those who prefer their drinks bone-dry.
