Combine everything in a shaker, add ice, shake, and strain into your glass over fresh ice. Cheers! Smuggler's Cove Rich Simple: 4 cups demerara 2 cups water (We used 1 vanilla bean pod) 1/4 tsp salt Smuggler's Cove Orgeat Syrup: 1-pound blanched Almonds (We used Macadamia nuts instead) 4 cups of water % cups of sugar 1/4 tsp rose water 1/4 tsp orange flower water 2 tsps lightly aged rum
Editor's Note
Macadamia nuts replace almonds in the orgeat, lending an earthy, creamy texture to this tropical classic. Pomegranate and cardamom infusions add a modern, spiced dimension.

This sounds like a fantastic twist on a classic! Do you happen to have the full process for the pomegranate and cardamom infusion for the curaçao? I'd love to try making that at home.
