A little twist on a cocktail created by Shannon Tebay of Death & Co. in New York. This twist is a perfect treat for National Strawberry Parfait Day, the only thing missing is granola. Which I thought about crumbling a little graham cracker on top, but I liked the way the ground black pepper looked. This gin based strawberry cocktail gets a slightly creamy texture from yogurt and a garnish of black pepper goes so well with the notes in gin. Lion’s Tail

In a cocktail shaker, muddle strawberries with lemon and honey. Once muddled, add gin and yogurt, shaking with ice. Double strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice. Garnish with freshly cracked black pepper and enjoy.
