The Tequila Sunrise cocktail was very popular in the 1980s and was also Mick Jagger's favorite! 🍹Legend has it that it was actually created in the 1970s by Bobby Lozoff and Billy Rice, bartenders at The Trident in Sausalito, California. Mick Jagger tried one at a party for their 1972 tour in America, The Trident was hosting, and he loved it! Mick and his entourage liked the cocktail so much they ordered it all across America and dubbed the tour “The Cocaine and Tequila Sunrise Tour.” 🎉

1. Add the Tequila, Orange Juice and Passion Fruit Syrup to an ice filled hurricane glass. 2. Stir to combine. 4. Slowly add the hurricane mix over the top to create the sunrise effect. 5. Add the orange slice with umbrella and a Luxardo Cherry on the side of your glass.
Editor's Note
Passion fruit syrup and a tropical mixer give this classic Tequila Sunrise an extra burst of island‑style sweetness, while preserving its iconic sunrise look.
