Was feeling like something with a bit of a kick, so we got a bottle of Italicus to play with. So of course, I wanted to try a Bergamot Negroni. Have you had one? If you haven't, I highly recommend it. But of course, I have to put a small twist on everything, at least that's what Sam teases me about ...all the time. So, I spritzed the glass with a little @ilegalmezcal to add a layer of smokiness and complexity. I mean, why not?

Spritz glass with Mezcal. Add all other ingredients to a mixing glass. Add Ice and stir for 10-15 seconds. Strain into glass and enjoy.
Editor's Note
Bergamot liqueur and a mezcal rinse transform the classic Negroni into a complex, aromatic experience. The barrel-finished gin adds a subtle wood-spice depth that anchors the citrus.

This sounds like a fantastic twist on a classic! The addition of the mezcal rinse is such a clever way to add depth. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

If it has the Dented Brick barrel finished gin in it, I’m convinced it MUST be amazing!
