This is an amazing springtime cocktail. Honestly, it takes me back to watching seaplanes landing on Lake Dora in Tavares, FL., America’s Seaplane Capital. I added a dash of Lime Bitters, which isn’t in the original recipe, but I’ve been enjoying these bitters from Fee Brothers, Inc. Therefore, they made their way into this cocktail. It can’t hurt to add a little extra citrus flavor when you’re picturing yourself sitting on the sand watching seaplanes land.

Editor's Note
An absinthe-rinsed French 75 riff. The dual-bitter approach adds a bright, citrus-forward complexity to the crisp champagne finish.

This sounds like a wonderful, refreshing choice for a spring afternoon! The addition of lime bitters to the classic gin and champagne profile is a great touch.

I haven't tried this one, but now I must. I love a good Spritz.
