Feels like Summer is coming to an end... Except that, it's 105 degrees right now. 🥵 We are really digging our Canadian Whisky concoctions. Canadian Whisky tends to not be as rich or heavy as American Whisky. When working with lighter and fruitier ingredients, that can be a huge plus.

Muddle .5 of nectarine in shaker. Add all other ingredients except for soda water. Add ice. Shake. Add soda water and strain into a glass. Double strain if you can. Garnish and enjoy! Lemongrass Syrup: 1 cup water 1cup sugar 3stalks of lemon grass cut up into 1-inch pieces Bring to a boil. Cut the heat and let sit overnight or for at least an hour. Strain and bottle.
Editor's Note
Canadian whisky provides a light, fruit-forward canvas for muddled nectarine and aromatic lemongrass. A bar spoon of Cynar adds an essential earthy depth to this summer cooler.

This sounds like the perfect way to beat the heat! Do you happen to have any tips on the best way to garnish the lemongrass to really bring out the aroma?
