Cherry Liqueur

Cherry-fruit liqueur built on neutral spirit or brandy with macerated sour or sweet cherries (and often kernels), yielding ripe red-cherry, almond-kernel, and lightly tannic stone-fruit notes. Examples: Heering, Cherry Marnier, Luxardo Sangue Morlacco; typically 24-32% ABV.
