Pear Slice

A thin slice of fresh pear (typically Anjou, Bartlett, or Bosc) used as a fruit-skewer or rim garnish on pear-forward cocktails. Adds visual ripe-pear cue and subtle aromatic to drinks built on pear vodka, pear brandy (Poire Williams), or pear liqueur — pear martinis, pear bourbon smashes, spiced-pear autumn cocktails. Slice is cut lengthwise through the fruit (showing the seed line) or as a thin cross-section.
