Heading into a busy three-day weekend with a smile on my face. The positive: three days of good times; the negative: NO MORE FOOTBALL. Sigh. This was a fun cocktail as I am learning that Allspice Liqueur tends to balance well with any fruit flavor. And vodka. Always vodka. Cheers to good weather and good times. And in about eight months, good football.

Muddle fresh pear and mint in simple syrup. Add the other ingredients and shake over ice. Pour over ice and top with pear soda, garnishing with fresh mint.
