A French Connection

Submitted on: February 7, 2023
A cognac and chestnut liqueur highball named for The French Connection, a 1971 film starring Gene Hackman. The recipe originally called for amaretto, but I killed my amaretto with last week's Italian Sunset so I substituted the chestnut liqueur instead. It turned out delicious! Cheers!

Editor's Note
Cognac meets roasted chestnut in this simple, spirit-forward digestif. A sweet, nutty alternative to the classic amaretto-based French Connection.
