This delightful gem is a riff on a Manhattan, and it is fantastic. A bit sweeter than a Manhattan thanks to the Benedictine, it is a well-balanced, very spirit-forward cocktail. The absinthe balances well with the herbal and sweet Benedictine with the strong rye as the perfect base.
