The first drink I made with this cool "Paradise Blend" syrup from BG Reynolds is the drink from the back of the bottle! It may seem like cheating, but if there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that the creators of a product understand how to use it, and this is no different. A very simple 3-component drink allows the grapefruit and the Asian cinnamon to shine, really giving a fantastic exhibition of this syrup.

I have a PhD in chemistry, which is basically just mixology you're not supposed to drink, so the shift from lab to bar was pretty obvious.

Editor's Note
Paradise Blend syrup adds grapefruit brightness and Asian cinnamon spice that lift the agricole rum into a vivid tropical punch.

This sounds like a fantastic, refreshing way to use that syrup! Do you have a favorite brand of Rhum Agricole you like to pair with this blend?
