This bourbon drink is a delight. Kind of a riff on a whiskey sour, it is citrusy and slightly sweet with a cute little hit of anise, not overpowering at all imo. I’m not usually a bourbon fan, but this was pretty great. I’m not sure why it’s called the Billionaire. It is similar to a Millionaire cocktail which contains these ingredients plus orange liqueur, egg white, and nutmeg. The Billionaire is more understated and gets to the point without frills.
