Blood and Sand

Hello friends! For Scotch Saturday I have a classic Blood and Sand, named for the 1922 Rudolph Valentino of the same name, and once again I am garnishing my drink with amazing cocktail cherries from Maraska that I received as part of The Crafted Pour's Tastemaker Program! Sour Maraska cherries are candied in their own juice to make a delicious cocktail garnish that has just the right hint of sweetness and a good full-bodied chew that is the mark of a great garnish. If you haven't tried these yet...

Editor's Note
A classic Scotch-based sour that balances malted smoke with rich cherry and herbal vermouth. Fresh orange juice provides the necessary brightness to tie the profile together.
