Dublin Palaka

This is a riff on one of my favourite cocktails in Smugglers Cove, using Irish Poitin instead of Rum Poitin is Irish moonshine made with barley, that only recently became legal to produce, being outlawed in the 1600's Quite a few distilleries have started producing it alongside their whiskey but out of the few that I've tried so far Mad March Hare is my favourite. Very flavourful, with notes of gingerbread, and other baking spices, which pair very well with the Drambuie and Li Hing Mui Powder

A home enthusiast with a passion for all things tiki! Rum is my favourite poison, but I also love Whiskey, Brandy and just about every other spirit. I'm fairly new to cocktail making but I quickly fell in love with it and enjoy the pursuit of finding my new favourite libation. Cheers! ...

Editor's Note
Irish Poitin meets the honeyed spice of Drambuie in this bold, sour-style riff. A dusting of Li Hing Mui powder adds a distinct, salty-sweet finish.
