Maraschino is a lesser-used spirit… I had a hard time coming up with an idea. So instead of a regular Aviation, I went with something similar but with vodka instead of gin!

Add all ingredients to the shaker with plenty of ice. Put a cherry garnish into a coupe or martini glass. Giant Clear Ice cube optional. Shake and strain into a glass.

A vodka-based riff on the classic Aviation. Maraska Maraschino liqueur provides the essential almond-cherry backbone, while violette adds a delicate floral finish.
