Here's a stirred take on the modern classic cocktail the Cosmopolitan using the cranberry syrup I had made for some Christmas inspired cocktails. I'm not the biggest fan of using vodka, especially for spirit forward drinks. I much prefer to use a spirit with character that can add its own complexity to the drink so I went with the softer Plymouth Gin as the base for this

A home enthusiast with a passion for all things tiki! Rum is my favourite poison, but I also love Whiskey, Brandy and just about every other spirit. I'm fairly new to cocktail making but I quickly fell in love with it and enjoy the pursuit of finding my new favourite libation. Cheers! ...

Editor's Note
Plymouth Gin replaces vodka in this stirred riff on the Cosmopolitan. Cranberry syrup and lime bitters provide a tart, aromatic backbone that elevates the classic template.
