What a crazy time in a crazy world. I tried to shield myself from the media frenzy this weekend, but it is somewhat inescapable. Despite the oppressive humidity and heat, I sat in the park yesterday and read my book (an upcoming history of the Beatles John and Paul - more on that as it gets closer to the publication date).
