I ventured off looking for a pot of gold as St. Patrick’s Day draws near. Obviously, finding a pot of gold is not that easy, and I’m not that lucky. I found myself stranded and chilly. Much like the passengers in 1942 at Ireland’s Foynes Airport. That’s when Chef Joe Sheridan brewed a pot of coffee as the passengers waited for the bad weather to pass, adding in some Irish Whiskey, sweetening with brown sugar, and topping with some whipped cream.
