So I've been growing various herbs at home - basil, cilantro, parsley, thyme, dill and mint. Oh the mint. It is growing faster and higher than all of the others and she's taking over! Trying to use it as fast as possible; the perfect reason to make a Mint Julep. But with a twist. A Rum Julep. And wow - my first but not my last.

Shadow Ridge’s navy‑strength rum gives the classic mint julep an intense, caramel‑rich backbone.

A Rum Julep is such a fantastic idea, especially with an abundance of fresh mint! Using a navy strength rum must give this a wonderful, bold character. Cheers!
