Two of the great Mesoamerican peoples are represented in this harmonious pairing of Mayan coconut liqueur and Aztec chocolate bitters. Color and spice are added by using vodka infused with dried Cascabel peppers. The resulting martini is a bourbon-colored elixir with an earthy nose, a warming mouth feel with notes of coconut, and a wonderful spicy finish that fades to chocolate.

Pepper Infusion: Add 8-10 oz of 80 proof vodka to a bell jar along with 2-3 dried Cascabel peppers. Cover and let steep for 2-3 days. Decant and strain through a fine mesh strainer. Cocktail: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass. Add ice and stir well. Strain into a small martini or Manhattan glass. Garnish with a skewer of rolled coconut. Serving Suggestion: Serve with a small bowl of Cretors™ Dark Chocolatey Drizzle Popcorn.
