I've been really interested in experimenting with the 'Bramble' lately, and I wondered how whiskey would work as a base. I used the outstanding Canadian whisky I got from Stalk & Barrel, and I was not disappointed!

Add whisky, lemon juice, and simple syrup over ice. Shake. Strain into crushed ice. Drizzle crème de mûre down the side. Garnish with blackberries.

Whisky replaces gin, giving a warm caramel backbone that meets the tart lemon and blackberry liqueur for a summer‑ready riff.
