45th Parallel Distillery

Border Bourbon is truly small batch in every detail. The grains come from Rusmar Farms, located just 8 miles from our distillery. From there, the entire process – milling, mashing, fermenting, distilling, aging, and bottling – is done within our facility. Each small bottling batch comes from five barrels produced in the same distillation run. The barrels are Ozark White Oak from McGinnis Wood Products.  MASH: 62% Corn, 12.5% Wheat, 12.5% Rye, 13% Malted Barley

45th Parallel Border Bourbon

Our first and namesake spirit is the perfect vodka, made from 100% locally sourced corn grown at Rusmar Farm in Roberts, Wisconsin. Many tasters are surprised and delighted to find that they would sip this vodka neat. Where most vodka producers aim for neutral aroma and taste, we highlight the quality of corn and emphasize its incredible flavor in every sip.

This artisan gin is distilled 4 times, aged in our own used whiskey barrels, and then infused with honey and vanilla beans.  BOTANICALS: Juniper, Rose Petals, Coriander, Star Anise, Rose Hips, Cardamom, Cubeb, Angelica Root, Gala Apples

45th Parallel Barrel-Aged Gin

Aquavit is a traditional Scandinavian infused spirit that always features dill and/or caraway. Since 2009, we've been infusing every batch of 45th Parallel Dill Aquavit with hundreds of pounds of freshly-harvested dill from a local farm.  This spirit is highly recommended by [The Gin Is In](https://theginisin.com/aquavit/gamle-ode-dill-aquavit/): "Botanically, it might be simple. But the expression on the palate is anything but. Simply put, this is a beautiful celebration of dill as a botanical. The juniper and caraway add some color and complexity but this is all about the dill.
