Sloe Gin

Gin-based liqueur made by macerating sloe berries (blackthorn fruit) in gin and sugar; tart, plum-like, and ruby-colored. Used in the Sloe Gin Fizz, Charlie Chaplin, and Blackthorn cocktails; typically 15-30% ABV.
