This is a riff on a fantastic cocktail I had at Betty Lous Library in Calgary, Alberta called Alice Joyce. Alice Joyce was an actress from the 1920's and 30's, most famous for her role in The Green Goddess. I swapped the Aquavit for Tequila and Mezcal and the cucumber for some Green Bell Pepper Puree to make this sweet, smokey and vegetal delight!

A home enthusiast with a passion for all things tiki! Rum is my favourite poison, but I also love Whiskey, Brandy and just about every other spirit. I'm fairly new to cocktail making but I quickly fell in love with it and enjoy the pursuit of finding my new favourite libation. Cheers! ...

Editor's Note
Green bell pepper puree brings a crisp, vegetal snap to this agave-forward riff. Thyme syrup and Chartreuse add layers of herbal complexity that linger through the smoky mezcal finish.

This sounds like a fantastic, complex riff! Do you happen to have the recipe for your green bell pepper puree so others can try making this at home?
