Strawberry Negroni

Submitted on: April 22, 2023
I wanted to try an infusion of strawberries and Campari, which turned out so well! Add sliced strawberries into a jar and pour Campari over top with enough to cover the fruit. Let sit for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator. Then add all ingredients plus ice to glass and stir 15-20 seconds. Enjoy.

In a rocks glass, pour all ingredients and add a large cube of ice. Stir to chill and dilute the cocktail. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.
Editor's Note
Strawberry-infused Campari softens the classic's bitter edge, adding a layer of fresh fruit that complements the gin's botanicals. A perfect gateway Negroni for a summer evening.

This is definitely up my alley. How long did you infuse the Campari for?
