I mixed up a good one last night! I saved the strongest cocktail of the week for Friday night because, you know, work and stuff. Continuing on with another Valentine’s Day cocktail, this drink uses absinthe as its base and balances with a little passion. I garnished this one with two mint leaves to resemble the mermaid tail on Jettywave Distillery’s absinthe bottle. I soaked a sugar cube in absinthe and torched it to heat things up. Wave of Passion

Editor's Note
Absinthe takes center stage in this bold, anise-forward highball. Passion fruit and ginger beer provide a tropical, spicy counterpoint to the herbal intensity.
