Barrel Finished Gin Manhattan

Submitted on: January 20, 2024
My friends at Dented Brick Distillery sent me the most INCREDIBLE barrel-finished gin. It is so good, and I’m honestly having trouble using it in cocktails because my wife and I are enjoying it neat. The caramel-smooth yet herbaceous quality of this gorgeous gin just begs to be used in place of bourbon or rye. Here, I’ve used it in place of rye in a Manhattan. It is so smooth and balanced, and the herbaceous quality of the gin lends an incredible new dimension to this classic cocktail. Enjoy!
