Gimlets are a great basic gin cocktail that allows for amazing improvements and experimentation. I find something as simple as muddling cucumbers can make a Gin non believer switch teams. Gin lends itself to herbal and earthy flavors, cucumber, mint, basil, rosemary, thyme. Adding one or more of these can make the jump into a fruity gin cocktail even smoother. Cucumber, basil and blueberries are a personal favorite of ours.
