Red dragon fruit isn’t something easily accessible to me, I can generally only find the white, so when Millin sent me their gorgeous dehydrated red dragon fruit I was stoked!! I knew I wanted to do more than just use it as a garnish, so I made a simple syrup with them. This color is absolutely stunning and in a simple rum cocktail, it really shines. Cheers y’all!

Hi there! I've been a bartender at the same restaurant for over 10 years. My favorite spirits to work with are rum (love a good tiki drink!), gin and amaros. I love to garden and I often use the herbs and produce I grow to make syrups and infusions. Cheers y'all! ...

Editor's Note
Red dragon fruit syrup provides a vibrant, neon-hued base for this rum sour. Tiki bitters add a necessary spice-forward backbone to the tropical fruit profile.
